Finding the right security data, knowing what to prioritize, and how to fix the issue isn’t always easy. But at Aftra, it’s always been our priority to make those things as simple as possible.
And that’s exactly what we’ve built Askja for.
Askja is your personal cybersecurity AI assistant, built directly in Aftra in the form of a chatbot. Instead of clicking through the software or decoding technical jargon, you can now ask questions in plain language, get instant context on your data, and take action to improve your resilience with confidence.
Most security tools are great at handing you an intimidating list of problems. But they aren’t so good at contextualizing and prioritizing them. What are you supposed to do with a list of 500 security vulnerabilities without knowing what to tackle first or even how to fix them?
Aftra is designed to provide context, help you prioritize, and empower you to take action. Askja makes Aftra even better at doing just that while being with you every step of the way.
Here’s how Askja can help optimize your daily workflow:
Askja feels like a natural extension of the Aftra software, not a distraction. It won’t pop up if you don’t open it and it understands where you are in Aftra while asking for help.
We know that when it comes to AI and security data, trust is everything. We’ve built Askja from the ground up with data minimization and European privacy regulations at its core.
We do not submit customer-identifying details like employee identities or specific identifiers to the model. Data is fully anonymized before processing and remains strictly in the EU. We also do not use your data to train foundation models.
If you’ve been wondering about the name, it holds a special place in our story. Askja is a famous volcanic caldera in Iceland and occasionally a female name. It’s a nod to our Icelandic roots and where Aftra’s journey began.
Besides having the word “ask” built right into it, it happens to share the exact same five-letter length as Aftra and gives us a neat bit of alliteration that feels right at home in our software.
Askja is already available to all Aftra users. Simply click the “Ask Askja” button at the top of the page in Aftra.
Whether you want quick ideas on how to strengthen your cybersecurity posture, need help prioritizing your next sprint, or just want a quicker way to navigate within Aftra, Askja is there to help.
Login to Aftra and ask Askja your first question.
